Originally from Auckland, Jude has owned property and resided on the island for the last 22 years.
Her working career prior to real estate was in the travel industry, in a range of roles both sales and marketing orientated.
She joined Harcourts in 2006 just prior to the Global Financial Crisis. The climate at the time, while tough suited her personal style and approach as she is very empathetic to people’s situations.
In January 2011 she joined Waiheke Real Estate who was celebrating their 50th year being a small independent agency on the island with a well-earned local reputation for both their respected staff and outstanding sales record.
She prides herself on doing a professional job and takes her responsibilities seriously while enjoying the relationships she forms with vendors and buyers. Many start as strangers and end up as friends.

Tom is one of the senior sales people on the island having moved into real estate in 2005 and working with the then Ray White franchise on the island. Since 2006 he has served as a Licensed Sales Consultant as Waiheke Real Estate.
Previous to that Tom and his brother Justin owned an iconic furniture brand in Auckland until the late 70’s when they sold it to a consortium. Then for nearly thirty nears Tom and his Kiwi wife lived in the “far north” of the US A and was engaged in the Industrial Packaging business which advanced into automated machinery systems. When they decided to move back to New Zealand, Waiheke Island was their pick.
Thus after a lengthy career involving complex B2B projects working with Vendors and Customers to achieve a beneficial outcome that effects each party in a deeply personal way is a joy to be involved in. Many customer and Vendors along the way have offered references and recommendations. Alistair joined Waiheke Real Estate after four years with Ray White on the island. He is passionate about the island, living here on and off since 1995 with his wife who also works in real estate.

Sarah has known Waiheke Island since school days. In 1998 she bought a bach and has lived here permanently since 2003, when she joined the First National team and began her new career in real estate.
Prior to this Sarah worked for many years in the administrative, marketing and sales divisions of both the advertising and publishing industries in Auckland where her work experiences proved to be a considerable asset to her new role in real estate sales.
Now, 16 years on, Sarah has established herself as an ethical, hard-working and knowledgeable professional with a solid reputation of delivering good honest service to both her vendors and purchasers. “My underlying ethos is based on communication with all parties, and this has been rewarded over the years by both return business and referrals.”
Sarah has recently joined the Waiheke Real Estate team and is looking forward to working with new and existing clients, many of whom have become firm friends.
Living on Waiheke for almost thirty years has been a pleasure and a joy for myself, and a wonderful place for my wife and I to raise our family.
My career in real estate began on Waiheke in 1992, and I semi-retired in 2008, after directing some of the island’s most notable property transactions during those years. The ‘call of the wild’ beckoned me back to real estate in 2020, and I’m looking forward to this fresh chapter of my life and career, and all the incredible people and learnings it will inevitably bring.
Some of the new challenges I got involved in post-real estate included ownership of a book publishing house and an investment and management role in an online shopping comparison platform that operates in eight countries. More recently I established a small island business providing executive transfers for boutique lodges and helicopter operators and private tours for mainly high-end overseas visitors and the occasional celebrity.
My mature years don’t contribute much to my looks, but I’d like to think that they add some value in terms of personal life experience and knowledge etc! I’ve always had a genuine passion for providing a high level of personal customer care and service and helping clients navigate through the important and sometimes challenging journey of acquiring or divestment of their property.
One of my specialty areas is creating innovative and stand-out marketing campaigns that don’t just showcase properties to their full potential, but also achieve great results for their owners. I’m a strong advocate of working collaboratively whenever possible, and we have a great in-house admin and graphic design team at Waiheke Real Estate that provide me with excellent support on each project.
